like commando. Rug and living area have urine
smell. Mop contains dog urine smell. Ineffective
in neutralising smell in living area. Therefore,
attracted to pee in living area. Busy young couple
with older paper-trained Spitz.

Oct 18, 2005. Owned various breeds but found this
Maltese to be most intelligent. Pees and poops on
puppy training pad on first day after
purchase from the pet shop. Shifted pads. No
shredding for past 7 days. Sleeps on towel (right
half of wire crate). Advised taping of pad. But
peed on fabric cushion bed outside too. Success
on day 1.

90% paper-trained after 6-8 weeks.

Diarrhoea for 10 days despite one veterinary
consultation but recovered. After 2 weeks, poops
on papers mostly but pees outside the papers and
in other rooms. Owner has 2 dogs, 6 months and 2
years old. The 2-year-old is paper-trained. May
need to neutralise urine odour from floor tiles
thoroughly.

Remove 3 fences. 1 additional newspaper area with
pee tray. All dogs like clean papers as toilet.
Soiled papers are not wanted.
