Need to neutralise ammonia smell in common bathroom floor. Inconvenienced other users if puppy pees there.  LUTI in the female Siberian Husky.

423. Oct 18, 2005. Owned various breeds but found this Maltese to be most intelligent. Pees and poops on puppy training pad on first day after purchase from the pet shop. Shifted pads. No shredding for past 7 days. Sleeps on towel (right half of wire crate). Advised taping of pad. But peed on fabric cushion bed outside too.  Success on day 1.	422. Oct 15, 2005. 421. Oct 12, 2005. Follow up case on young couple who housed the puppy in the playpen inside the bedroom.  90% paper-trained after 6-8 weeks.	420. Oct 5, 2005. Week 1, stepped over stools. Diarrhoea for 10 days despite one veterinary consultation but recovered. After 2 weeks, poops on papers mostly but pees outside the papers and in other rooms. Owner has 2 dogs, 6 months and 2 years old. The 2-year-old is paper-trained. May need to neutralise urine odour from floor tiles thoroughly. Pees elsewhere, poops on papers.
419. Oct 4, 2005. Observe puppy's sleeping area. Usually near feeding and drinking area. Plays with plastic feed bowl. So, fed outside. Eats in <5 min 2X/day.  Not using the towel as his bed.	418. Oct 2, 2005. Australian imported Golden Retriever paper-trained within 1 week.
417. Oct 2, 2005. Pee-tray-trained, not paper-trained.	416. Oct 2, 2005.  Urine marking of territory by male dogs.

409. Sep 28, 2005. Attach water bottle to 1 fence. Remove 3 fences. 1 additional newspaper area with pee tray. All dogs like clean papers as toilet.  Soiled papers are not wanted.	408. Sep 27, 2005. Does not pee on newspapers without urine smell. Use urine spray. Urine smells on papers important for puppy toilet training.
